Samsung ST80 compact cameras has Wi-Fi
Just days after pulling back the curtain on two new DualView models, Samsung has announced the ST80 connected compact. The imaging specs are all very familiar, including 3x optical zoom, a 14.2-megapixel sensor, a 3-inch touch screen and the seemingly omnipresnt ability to capture 720p HD video.

Panasonic prepping 3D lens for Lumix G-series cameras
While the war over the long-term viability of 3D technology rages on in electronics stores and website comment sections, Panasonic seems to be determined to lead the charge of three-dimensional entertainment. Part of that strategy, which we will see by the end of 2010, includes a 3D lens and firmware upgrade for their Lumix G series micro four thirds cameras.

Samsung updates Dualview line with ST600 and ST100 compact cameras
Samsung went out on a limb when they stuck front-facing LCD displays on their TL220 and TL225 compact cameras. But, apparently that gamble has paid off because today the DualView line is getting two new additions at the top of the heap. Both the ST600 and ST100 have a 1.8-inch LCD (compared to a 1.5-inch screen on the older models), which can be activated via hardware switch or simply by tapping on it.
